IRC has been acquired!
International Risk Consultants Pty Ltd (IRC), a Perth based company, has been acquired by Bureau Veritas. As of 1st December 2006 IRC has become a part of the Bureau Veritas Group of companies.
IRC primarily provides consulting services to the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industries, with its main activities being:
- Risk and Safety (safety case preparation, emergency response, HSEQ management);
- Environmental Management (modelling, sustainability, project management);
- Asset Optimisation (simulation, maintenance strategy, plant optimisation), and;
- Business Solutions (Workflow solutions, on-line hazard register).
IRC has 45 employees, with Grant O'Connell as General Manager and Colin Wright Technical Director. It provides services to approximately 130 clients, including Agip, Aker Kvaerner, Apache, BHP Billinton, BP, WA Government Departments, Santos, Schlumberger, Shell, Talisman Energy, Technip, Total Marine Services and Woodside.
